Getting the headshot right

Use a square crop — anything else turns into an oval or gets stretched.
Host it somewhere permanent. Signatures live for years and a dead image link looks worse than no photo.
Around 200×200px at 2x is plenty; larger files slow down threading and can trip spam filters.
Keep the same photo across email, LinkedIn and your company page — people recognise a consistent face faster.

Which email clients does it work in?

The output uses table-based HTML with inline styles, which is what Gmail, Outlook (desktop and web), Apple Mail and mobile clients render most consistently.

Can I use my headshot in the signature?

Yes. Paste the public URL of your photo. For the best result use a square image around 200x200px hosted somewhere reachable (your company site, LinkedIn CDN, etc.).

How do I install it?

Copy the HTML with the copy button, then paste it into your client's signature editor: Gmail under Settings → Signature, Outlook under Insert → Signature → Signatures.

Why does the image need to be hosted?

Email clients do not embed pasted images reliably; they load images from a URL. A hosted image displays for every recipient.
